18rg oil filter

can anybody tell me which filter will fit but is shorter than the z68 which is listed in books. need to use shorter one to clear carb linkages at full throttle

Nev,
I always used the filters for the 3SGTE. It's smaller and helps with oil pressure and is a better design as well.

I think Toyota refer to these as a D2.
I just found out recently they fit the 3t-gte also

i was wondering the same thing yesterday until i did a search and this is what i found;
RYCO,
Z125
Z418
Z68
Z63
the one i bought today is a Z158 and it measures about 100mm top to bottom. cost me 12$ or sumthin

Hi,
The 18RG oil filter is Toyota Part number 15601-33021.
I have heard from numerous people to use the genuine part for the oil filter. They are much better quality than no-name and other market brands. They may cost a little bit more, but if you are serious about looking after your engine, get the real thing.

Exactly - the Toyota "D2" tag is the one that I use (E2 is too small)
