Tint on a read windshield with defogger Wed, 22 December 2004 02:09 Go to next message
Far as I know generally a defogger will eventually bubble tint off.
Is there a way or a special tint that cna be used on a rear windshield with a defogger? And use the defogger?

Dude,

Just got my windows tinted by a place called Universal Tint in Sydney.$275 for Corolla Seca.

Universal tint phone 0414 658 502

They use 3M film and 3M guarantee it for life not to peel.

"http://products3.3m.com/catalog/au/en005/home/wind ow_film/node_CV7GWRDN1Dbe/root_D58K9TX3VWgv/vroot_ P0TL49C8W4ge/gvel_60Z44KMT84gl/theme_au_windowfilm _3_0/command_AbcPageHandler/output_html"

3M do make the best films I think. Closely followed by Sol Ace films.

I wouldn't get Universal to tint any of my vehicles again.

On a usage note I had a car for 6 years with 3M film on it and it never faded or bubbled etc with the demister on the rear window used often.

Cheers

I didn't know Universal went to Sweden Confused Confused Confused

I thought they did a good job and cheaper than SolAce. SolAce don't actually make film they just install it.

Know I don't work for them or have any association : just my 2c.

Cheers
