Hey All,
I just installed a new ECU and the car is a bit laggy from being rich/lean... I want to install an Mixture meter. Which would be appoprate for a 5M-E with an O2 sensor being used?

This one (Just 02 input)?
http://www1.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=KC519 5&CATID=25&keywords=&SPECIAL=&form =CAT&ProdCodeOnly=&Keyword1=&Keyword2= &pageNumber=&priceMin=&priceMax=&S UBCATID=347

or the other (O2 and AFM input ~ Which pin would the AFM wire go to?)?

True Sideshow, but so are the autometer and associated ones..

basically any of the gauges that hook up to a narrow band sensor wil only tell you if it's rich or lean FROM STOICH. that said, if thats all you want, then why not use a $16 kit as opposed to a $200 wanky gauge with 7 colours Razz

if you want a wideband gauge and sensor, go check out the techedge kit. altho not the best heater current control of all the widebands it does the job...

i'm hanging out for the Bowling and Grippo 'precision wideband controller' next year..

Sideshow, some people have said that the jaycar meters (and others) don't have enough input impedance, and draw too much current from the O2 sensor.. what are your thoughts?

yes u cant go wrong with the motec or the autrronic air fuel meter

but for 2000 not every one can afford it

i cant understand people who tune their car on the street using anything but an air fuel meter equivalenmt to these
