Has anyone out there done this or know someone who has, i was thinking the 5v engine???? any thoughts????

V6 would be great but the 5v is a v8 not a v6

a few celicas (rare) have the commodore v6 conversion
its unusual but apparently works pretty well, see if u can find
an owner and get some tech, the celicas have a bit more
space in the engine bay so it might be quite a shoehorn for a
ke20, you cant drop a coin in a 300zx engine bay - v6 and
they are wide cars too
on the recommended engine conversions on this site i saw
1ggte for ke corollas, now thats a goddam good idea - engine
is a very good buy, its a inline 6 so 1 head and heaps of
people are using them in conversions, turbo / twin turbo too
id rather a inline 6 anyday, because it has one set of everything, like a v6 is twice the amount of work for mods -
2 heads, 2/4 cams, timing, 2 exhausts, 2 intakes
well good luck with your project, the new holden 6
is like 190kw! <dreaming> now that would go...
