The general rules for street manifolds are:
1: Make it fit - pay attention to hot spots when you're positioning the turbo, and insulate other parts from heat.
2: Pay some attention to the engine's firing order, for gas delivery into turbo.
3: Brace it - it will crack and move if you don't
4: Focus more on tuned length runners as you get more experience and want more performance out of the manifold - that said, you'll never notice the difference on a street car.
5: When constructing the manifold, bolt it to a straight edge that wont bend or bow with the heat caused by welding it up, and still have the flanges faced after welding.

from my experience, try to stay away from stainless, unless it's thick..steam pipe is good for starters..many many years of life..
always diegrind as much as you can on the inside where the 4 collect into the flange plate..extra welding here and there where 2 pipes run really really close to eachother doesn't hurt either..

I bought that manifold as is, I didn't make it. Apparently it was constructed from chopped-up 18R-G extractors.
