'85 corona Vs '00 civic

A little while back i pulled up next to a newish civic, with 17's, body kit, big spoilers, LOUD exaust, and all those little FUc#*%&#( animals on the dash(i hate those things), anyway he thought he was good revving his car, so when the lights went green i floored it, he kept up till i hit fourth then i left him for dead doing close to 170kmh.
oh yeah i was driving my beaten up '85 corona with a tired 22re motor due for a rebuild, 5 speed(his was manual as well, dumped on its arse(at the time got defected not long after).
so much for honda power.
oh how much power does a civic have(all the rice stuff should have put it up to at least 200 Kw in my book)

Yeh SWEET alright!!!
me and three mates were in the car one night after bit of thrashing the cars out and had her of the clock. the speedo only goes to 180km/h and we hit that in 5th doing 4000rpm, AND she was still going.GO THE CORONA.
and yeah she does get a bit of the shakes, probly due to the worn out shockies she has. a problem i have to attend to very shortly.

yeah i guess your right, but its not like i speed like that all the time. also it was on a very long road with no other cars around otherwise i wouldnt have gone so fast, especially with other people in the car.

I only show this concern as my mate had an old corona... I was scared when he was going 100 in that ok !!! hehehehe
i couldnt imagine 180... again.. goddam !!

heh go corona's, Yeah the old st141 get the speed wobbles real good at the 180Km/h. O and a little secret with the st141, disconnect the air pump. Gives a little bit more go
