Just finished repainting the black parts of the car.
Now painted in shwarts Black, BMW pearl black, But in sunlight it changes between really dark green/grey/purple.
These where taken just after finishing buffing and its shiny,in the second pic it looks blue.
Now I just have to put it back together and detail it.

Not too many more mods, pedders 1.75" lowered springs in the front. 1.75" lowering blocks in the rear, pedders gas shocks all round, Brakes are next on the list of to do and do something with the rear end as it corners bad and tramps/bangs, The wheels are some of the reason for the bad ride.

After Returning form the Tasmanian Nationals I took some pictures of the car now its detailed.
The EFI made heaps of diffrence, more torque, smoother reving, more revs but lost the induction noise, It stills needs a dyno tune its running a 4age modified map.
Maybe at turbo in the future, but for now just enjoy it for awhile, I have another car thats a money pit too, so now its time for some work on that one.

Saw your car today at Tassienats, looks just as good in the flesh!
I wasn't there Saturday, did you run it down the strip? If so, what times did you get?

Nah I did run the car down the strip.. the 2T-GEU isnt all that its made out to be.....they really not that fast but is better than the standard 3k.
I wouldnt think it would do a better time than a late 16 second to a mid 17.
Maybe someone can prove diffrent?
I have a pulsar et with work done on it, almost standard one will do a flat 16, im sure my et will be a bit faster than that, Drive the pulsar then the corolla feels like going from victor brays drag car to a bus.
But thank you for your comments.
I had a KE70 (its still sitting outside of my house as im working on it) That looks just like yours...even the same wheels etc...but lower.

Added Multicoil ignition, modified Commodore coilpack, Very modified 2T-GEU dizzy using 4AGE 20V internals and Microtech MTX8 with sequential injection and yes the power diffrence is very noticable.

I think it makes it a little more modern too.

its easy , I stripped the guts out of the 2T dizzy, got a machine shop to make a plug to go into the top approx 10cm tall and made it a very tight fit, then make a hole for the shank of the 20V Dizzy to fit into tight, using the original 2t shaft cut the top plate off where the mechanical advance was,so i was left with a shaft just comming out of the lower body on the dizzy, attacked the 20v dizzy shaft with a grinder and made a T , cut a slot in the 2t shaft and they all mate together when put together. like the dizzy to oil pump slot/T drive.
I dont know how well i explaned that. but im sure you can work it out from what i have said.
