NEEEDED!!! 2TG fan pully hub Thu, 17 October 2002 07:49 Go to next message
I'm still building my hybrid engine, and I'm soon running out of time, and I need the Waterpump pully off a 2TG motor or a 2T motor with a clutch fan.
You know of all the things I've read about doing this conversion not once did I read about this friggin pully, that's life I guess.
So can anyone help me?, I need it pretty soon as in now would be good.
In brisbane, call me on 0439 734 678
thanks in advance.

Benny,

Mate there are 3 different pullies from memory. Are you after the really long one or one of the shorter types ? I am using a 3TGTE pump and pully on mine as they run a shorter pully and pump set up sp allow more clearance for the thermo fan !

Let me know and I'll see what I have.

ahh Rod my savior!
I'm after the shorter type ones,
the story goes... I got a water pump for my new motor, so what it is, is a 2T water pump with the bypass outlet blocked off, now apparenty these ones with the ppe blocked off have clutch fans onto them,
So now I'm chassing the pully for a 2t waterpump with a clutch fan.
But I don't need the clutch fan, I just had a new radiator built for me, modified Torana one with a three core system and I will run two 10" thermo's. One will kick in at opperating temp and the second one I can start manually, this is all going in tomorrow if it all plans out.
there will be a bit of grinding and cut at the front of the celica but it will be worth it.
Please can you help me with the pully?
