My CV joints (well atleast i think its them making the noise) are making a hell of a racket so ive been making enquiries about getting new drive shafts. Firstly went to pedders and they quoted me $550 installed with a wheel alignment using pedders products. Then, i went to toyota to get a price for genuine drive shafts and they were $1100 EACH!
So does anyone know where i can get reconditioned or cheaper drive shafts or recommend me where to get them fixed??
cheers,
Kyle

When i changed my CV's it cost $150 per CV joint, and about 45 minutes total. I got the new ones from Repco who made the OEM part for the Australian built FWD Corollas.
The CV's and drive shafts are seperate parts, but Toyota will only sell you the complete drive shaft.
