Finally got around to getting the aircon gassed in the car after doing the conversion and it wont idle or rev with the aircon on. Was told to try taking the A/C and ELS2 wires off from the ecu but this still doesnt work.

I am still using the interior loom from the AE93 that has been modified to suit the GZE ECU.

Any ideas ?

hmmm have you got all the vsv's hooked up?

i know my idle goes funny when a vaccuum hose from the idle up sesnor isnt plugged in.

just go over your sensors again and make sure the fan is kicking in congrats on getting your aircon done. not alot of people get them fitted after a conversion

if the engine wont rev when the a c is on then there is a wiring problem

all you should need to do is hook up the compressor wiring

and the idle up solenoid

Both the blue and the brown VSV's have been removed now.
And the fans kick in.

This seems like a tricky one ! ! Sad

the brown vsv is for the supercharger
the blue vsv is for the fuel pressure reg

why did u take them off

the aircon idle up valve is not really a VSV. Its a bigger "air bypass valve" which has ~8mm rubber hoses running to it, connecting from the intake pipe to the valve to the engine side of the throttle body.

I explained this a little on twincam.org for you... one day i will try to get my diagrams online (when i can find my damn conversion notes book!)

No have checked all the idle up hoses etc , i noticed that when the revs go up and down the aircon clutch is clicking in and out so might be something on that .
