1jz coolant leak

I've got a coolant leak but i cant see where it is coming from. The leak is under the engine and coolant is dribbling from the center of where the engine would be in the bay. There was also coolant sprayed in the engine bay onto the air intake piping and on the cam cover on the same side. Radiator was half full, the engine didn't overheat but it cant be good.
Any ideas where the leak is coming from ?

check all around your water pump, top of rad, and rad hoses. if coolant gets on the fan or belts, it can end up everywhere and make the leak really hard to trace.

top radiator pipe is fine , water pump had a bit of coolant on it but looked like it had been sprayed on the water pump. Top of the radiator looks good and the belt and all the pulleys don't seem to have any traces of coolant on them. I splashed water to get rid of any coolant i could see, filled the radiator and drove the car for 10 mins then check , and the leak seemed to be coming from the bottom of the engine on the drivers side. Could it be transmission cooler lines?

this is pissing me off. All i can see is coolant dribbling down from the middle of the engine bay, coming off the crossmember thing right smack in the middle anyone know what in the hell this could be? Its not coming form the radiator or bottom radiator pipe, and i'm 99% sure its not coming from the water pump... HEELLPP!

I don't think it could be the auto cooler lines as that would not be coolant coming out.
just run the car at idle and follow the water pipes around the engine until you can physically see it dribbling out somewhere. I don't think it is possible to give you a positive answer without seeing it.

There is a coolant line that goes through the intake manifold and around the back of the engine. Try that one.

Thanks for the help. So if its not the water pump or the radiator itself its definitely coming from a leaky pipe? which means minimal cost

There are a couple of coolant return lines from the turbo cooling system on the main return pipe that runs alongside the passenger side of the block. This main pipe hooks up to the rear of the water pump. The heater return hose also connects to the rear of the main pipe before it bends behind and around the block.
There's also a drain plug mid/rear of the block for draining/flushing the blocks coolant.
The other alternative is a dud welch plug on that side of the engine....
Your best bet is to get the car up on jacks, remove the under covers and poke around with a flashlight until you pinpoint the source.

I have seen them for around $150 or so. There are two types. hydraulic or non-hydraulic. The non-hydraulic is better they say.
