does anyone have any info on the best way for a thermo fan conversion to a 1j cressida.

just wire it up to the thermo switch that runs the smaller fans, im sure theres a thermo switch on the 1J somewhere for the fans, should be pretty straight foward if you use the factorypickup points from the relay

what kind of thermos do u have.did u use the standard radiator from the mx83

1j have no fan switches
some 1j's have a hydraulic fan settup but this is conrolled by another ecu
just fit a thermo switch somewhere then fit the biggest signel fan u can fit
say like a 14in or 16 in
one big fan is usually better than 2 small ones

Can you weld? If so, make up a bracket and mount two of the biggest baddest fans you can possibly fit in there....I made up a bracket and bolted my ma61 radiator and 13+14" fans into my ma70...and they work perfect...

im also doing this for my ma61, it has a 4 core chev radiator in it, with a 16 and a 14" fan...and they are pretty damn hardcore...

check out the thread on http://www.thermactor.com/forum There is a bit of discussion about different thermo fan setups people have used on Cressidas. Do a search on that forum.
