great timeing too huh..nite before new years eve 
well its time for lsd
more info....
well i have toyota celica 82 XT model and ive done an engine conversion and slapped in a 1jz-gte and now im after an lsd.
i aint no mechanic so would be greatful of any help and price range im lookin at..just for parts tho. coz my brother is the mechanic but he doesnt know about prices or where to get lsd. im in melbourne btw
wat am i looking at ? am i able to get lsd for my diff ? am i going to need to get a diff "conversion" need some info 
as u can c. ive got no clue

whats your diff code on your chassis plate?
if it's a 'T' i think you can use a jap sprinter lsd and 'G' i think is supra?
theres a site called celicagts.com or something with vin codes to tell you what you've got, i hope this helps

You've got fuck all chance of having a T series diff, LSD or not to hold up to a 1JZGTE. Assuming you also give it a bit of grief (hence your current situation), start looking at either a F or G series diff retrofit - to do the job properly, you'll be up for costs of up to $3000 depending on how you do things.

yes, i would definitly go for the f or g series diff..g i think yo be cheaper..go to the nearest wreckers, grab a hilux diff..drum to drum..if it's urgent bolt it in and have a single spinner for a while till you can grab an LSD..there is a group buy happening on this forum..
