Tacho for 4AGZE?

Hey all ive got a problem, just bought a autometer tacho for my car and cant find where to hook the wire for the coil. Its a 4AGZE so having multi coils i have no idea? Any help would be great!!!!!

the tacho wire output from the ignitor. which is connected to the [IG-] terminal in your diagnostics conncetor and also to the dash (depending on how your car is wired up)

would you know what colour it is? Is it the white one? If so i tried that and it was reading wrong, roughly reading 3000rpm when it was very close to red line? Thankyou.

1. You've connected it to only one coil, or
2. It's on the V8 setting?

ive checked to make sure it wasn't on V8 So i must of had it only on one coil. wouldnt know how to hook to both?????????? please help! thanks

See if the tacho's got a 2 cylinder setting
Otherwise you can use diodes to join the coils together, or buy a little box to do the same thing

you can run it of ig- terminasl in the diag plug but u might need a tacho booster
|
