My conversion is almost complete. just a couple of small wiring things to do then she is done. One problem I am having is with the reverse lights. Engine is a gen III 1g-gte (from a chaser 1/2 cut) and I can't figure out the reverse light switch in the gear box. I have put a multimeter on in and put it in reverse but the circuit doesn't close. Do you need to supply power or an earth to one of the wires (relay type thing) or is my switch just stuffed?
I had the same problem on my Gz.
I can't remeber exactly what i did though.... damn have to get off my ass and go out to the car..&(&(&^%^^%$%$.
You have to find the wire that send the power to the lights, from the auto loom and an earth. Mine had the lights in the dash to tell me when i had located the correct wires.
Cambelt, helped me out with mine, I suck at electricals.
