MALS4 GT4 ST185 Group A Info needed??????

Hoping someone out there can help me with this...
I am try ing to find some info or the owner of a car with Vic rego "MALS4" a ST185 GT4 Group A it was raced in the mid nineties in Hillclimbs and Targa etc. From what I've heard the car was a rocket ship and set a few lap records until it got written off by a mechanic while at a dyno shop.
If anyone has any info or specs on this car or knows how I can contact the owner it would be much appreciated

Are you talking about the black one with the toyota red and green stripes? Because I think that car was built by AVO, I remember reading a scanned magazine article I got from their website quite some time ago...
I dont have the article anymore though, that was many computers ago!

Yep, thats the car!! Black with the red and green stripes I'll have a search for the article.

just looking at those spoecs - mine really not that far off that black car ( bar for obvious race cage seatrs etc )
I think i might have to have a word to the previous owner - if i can track him down for some pointers
