Being new to this forum, be nice...
Okay, having a good look around AE86 Trueno's seem to sell for around $10K, but is it worth it?
I've found one coming in from Japan with:
Two tone black and white
AE92 4AGE with 272 deg HKS Cams and Sprockets
Cusco 2 way LSD
Kei Office Coilovers
RS*R Extractors and full stainless Exhaust System
14" Watanabes
8 point roll cage
FRP Rear Hatch (Stuffed if I know what that is)
TRD Front Bar Extension
Probably get it for $12K + delivery to sydney ($600)
What do you think?

It's got a weird set of lights....maybe it looks better in the metal.
Anyone figure out what the FRP Rear Hatch means?

In other words, its made out of fibre-reinforced plastic so its going to be lighter and wouldn't rust...now why hasn't someone gone into mass production for a A6X version???

Only thing I'd add is that you'd probably drive around the city & there's bound to be some guy pointing back saying 'look at that Initial D wanker'...
Oh yeah ... and a Fujiwara Tofu Shop sticker would make it go faster and do gutter runs as well ...
BTW, Sprocket, that rear end is actually the Jap Levin lights & colour scheme so it looks different from the Oz spec Sprinter.
Nice car though ... wish mine was like that ...

I know that car, it's the one C-RED keep saying they're bringing in... gord, if i had the $ i know i'd be buying it.
p.s. keep the tofu shop stickers off it, and lay big fat black marks in front of anyone who passes comment on you being an 'initial d wanker'.

That's the one! You could have found that out by tracing the web address of the pictures I posted up.
I'm not too sure about the car anymore.... it's nice and all, and it does have the works, the thing about the price is that it costs around $6K just to bring the car in from o/s with all the fees and compliance costs and cartage. So basically you're picking up a car worth $5K for $10K after it comes in here.
Better to keep your eyes open for a Trueno for sale in Syd from someone who's had it for a while and can't seem to sell it into the normal "Sprinter" market.
They are worth the price, it's just a bit more of a specialist buyers category.
