I think it's something to do with RWD drivers not being scared to push their vehicles to the limit.

hehe I just noticed this.
That was me pushing too far after I had passed Paul...
I came off, then caught up and lapped him again within the same lap.

Ignoring the fact that I was able to catch and pass you twice. Even if one time you claim to have slowed down for the yellow, I was able to catch up within a lap even with dirty tyres...
Mwuahahah!!
BTW, we're planning a corporate-type event at Eastern Creek.
Anyone interested? Not sure how many spots we'll have available but we may need to get some decent numbers.
The Corporate karts are faster, and hopefully they won't be speed limited like the Arrive & Drive karts... Man that was annoying!

Yeah, still up in the air right now.
Should be pretty costly. About $80 I think.
But we get 5 practice laps, plus (I think) about 45 minutes of driving. All timed too.

if its around $80 count me in...depending on the day of course... if we are stuck for numbers, which at this price i doubt it, i will have a few mates interested!

Oooh yeah, I just did this last weekend, and will be very keen to do it again. The 13hp carts are pretty bloody quick, & stick like shit to a blanket.
I think we paid about 140 each or something, I'm not too sure 'cos it was my birthday prezzie from my mates.
In the 13hp carts you won't be spinning on that corner nark. The hairpin before it requires some nice tail-out action & that corner is a relatively smooth sweeper (doesn't look it from the pick, I know).
When we go we need to take some 2" masking tape & a fat marker so we can label the back of our helmets. It's impossible to tell who's who otherwise.

The Arrive & Drive karts are actually supposed to be 13hp too, but I've been told that they're no where near as powerful as the Corporate karts.
They had enough power into and through a corner, but not enough to get a nice drift out.
I thought the Corporate tracks were different. We were in track 4 I think.
I actually just checked the prices, and yeah it's not $80...
Corporate: $300
Mini Grand Prix: $175
Reduced Mini Grand Prix: $130
Enduro: $175
Prices are higher for weekends too.
