He nearly gets hit by a road train - then takes off after the ute. Sorry but its pure stupidity. Even if the other guy WAS a moron. He just lowered himself even LOWER than that guy.

Im absolutely positive anyone with any sort of self-respect who almost got killed by someone else in that sort of stupid manner would not let that go.....
maybe not to the extent of what this guy did but i sure as hell know i wouldnt let it go....
but yeah ramming someone's ass can be dangerous....u or him could slid out into a tree or something with a mis-hit...not good

I reckon he's a hero... Some a**hole decides that he'd try to kill him so he gets some pay back... I can understand the first ramming and maybe the second and third... But pushing him off the road into a ditch was maybe taking it a bit too far...
But yeah, good on him for showing the c*** a lesson...

The guys a hero...
I love to hear stories about dickheads on the road getting their own back, just like that.
however, it was a tad dangerous, he obviously got away with it.

I don't see anything wrong with what the LC driver did. Mr HSV is just DAMN lucky that the person he pissed off wasn't a brickies' labourer and didn't beat the shit out of him.

HAHAHAHA! Classic. That man is a hero for sure. I would have done the same thing.
I started to laugh at the point when he wondered how much he paid for the bullbar, because I could see what was going to happen.

I'm not sure that's written by an Aussie - All the spelling in it is US style, eg, 'asshole' and 'tire'.
Anyway, I'm far less tolerant that the Cruiser bloke, if I have a bullbar I'd have rammed him in maybe 30 seconds of being dicked around. Dickheads like that Holden driver only understand really simple messages like that.

Yes, good point about the spell checker.
I never ceased to be amazed at huge drop in standards of (Australian/English) English in the last few years though ...

Personally, i woulda tackled it different. Use bull bar, stop other car, grab shifter wrench from behind seat, proceed to crown the other driver repeatedly, make sure he remembers not to do that silly lil thing again and drive off.
But watever tickles the "heroes" fancy i guess (yes hes a HERO cos its obviously a fairy tale... how long were they driving together for and the commodore driver never noticed the toyotas rego?!?)
cheers
PS ye, fair go too. Two rams from a bullbar would have called it quits for me, Dickhead or no.

Is it just me or did that story read like a movie plot? Black performance car with black windows and black tail lights???
Yeah right. What was the name of that movie with the black truck with the black windows and everything else black that tried running that car off the road in the desert????
Hmmmm.

that story is bloddy crazy!
i could justify the ramming but pushing the him into a storm drain is crazy!!!
i can see the humour from the ute dud in speeding up once or twice, but what he did was just stupid, not letting him back in that is just stupid.
Imagine if the toyota dude had of got hit by that road train, he would have gone to jail for a long time.
Bloody Idiot holden driver

F@%& thats a good story! I don't remember reading about anything like that in the paper. That Holden wanker deserves what he got, road trains shouldn't be messed with.
On a lighter note my friends and i play stupid games like that but only with each other on a three lane road, and there has been the occasion where one friend gentle pulled up to the rear of a friends car at the lights and pushed him to the middle of the intersection
PS They are lucky this didn't happen at night as there are road trains around every corner. Also there are itinerant that sleep on the median strip of the Stuart hwy in Katherine.

I dont think so.. the holden driver most likely would've got away with it.
Quote: | but yeah ramming someone's ass can be dangerous....u or him could slid out into a tree or something with a mis-hit...not good

Not in the middle of the desert mate!.

agreed. this is a person's life th Holden drive was fvcking around with, he IS NOT GOD (like most commo drivers think they are). The car is just that - a car. Its not human life. If it gets total you replace it. You can't replace a person.
I would've rammed the bastard in my celica if it had've been me. I also would've found ANYTHING in the car that is hard and heavy... and thrown it thru the window of that C&*NTS car!!
its people like that commo driver that deserve to have thier cars removed and their licence revoked PERMANENTLY!!

Who said anything about the cops ???
and im sure there would have been something to run into.....even if not.....sliding out at those speeds is dodgy....lets say he's going sideways on the dirt and hits that ditch he was talking about.....SMACK *!*!

It makes excellent reading, I am just glad I am alone at the office so everyone didn't hear me laughing . It sounds like something out of the original Mad Max (what a crap movie that was).

Sorry guys... Hate to kill the story, but i have seen the exact same story on an american site. In this story the 'Hero' drove a chevy truck, and the other car was a Caddy. It wasnt a road-train on the other side of the road, it was just another car. The speeds were alot higher (in MPH), and it was not in a desert...
I actually believed it as a 'crazy american story', but now i can see that it is just another urban myth, propogated through the internet
