man, u really should try searching b4 u post something like this.
Yes there is a difference between jdm and aus spec centres, not only that the entire diff is a totally different.
To get a 2 way LSD u will need;
a T series diff - prices vary, see ur wrecker
a 2 way LSD from TRD, Cusco or KAAZ. looking at around $1300 delivered
and final drive gearing for the diff, looking at around $500 new from toyota me thinks??

man, i really recommend u do a search, ppl on this forum dont like people asking the same questions that have been discussed 1000 times by 86 owners. All the info u need is already on this website, just search.
for ur question;
yes the t-18 diff is the diff i was refering to, it is suitable for aftermarket LSD's, however is not so strong.
alternativly u can try and get ur hands on an JDM diff, hard to find and expencive. also weaker than the next diff i will discuss
3rd alternative is the hilux diff, from a rn41 hilux, is strong, easy to find parts for, LSD, final gearing, but comes from a leaf suspension vechile, so needs mounts welded and tail shart shortened.
Anyway u look at it, its not cheap to get a real LSD into an aus spec sprinter, if u want a cheap alternative then weld ur S series diff up, but that will probably brake soon after u do so, people go through like 3 a year :S in the end its up to you man, but please search the forums instead of asking furthur questions about this. Everything u want to know is already covered in the forums.
Oh and if u have an aus spec sprinter u might want a new engine first...

yeah i have a beter engine allready for my sprinter, im putting a sr20 in it, and full s13 front suspension and brake's. Im just sorcing the last part in the driveline, the diff. The Hilux option sounds good except would it be five stud?
I know you would get alot of people on here saying i have an aus spec ae86 how can i make it drift? Well im serious, i have been drifting for two years in s13's, my 180sx is in the latest HPI magazine. Im just building a new toy as the 180sx is too nice of a car to drift in WA condiotions at the moment.I have everything organized for my 86 sitting in my shed, im not a time waster. Im only after answer's for some questions. Yes i will try a search next.
thanks for the help by the way, it is appreciated.
