1g-gte on an R series crossmember

Hey guys
I've heard from people doing 1g into Ra28 etcs, that they do not require custom mounts and that the 1g will bolt up to 18rg engine mounts?
I ask this, because I have an RT142 Corona that is getting 1g-gte treatment quite soon, and I have the mounts from the 22re that was taken out.
I was wondering if I can use these mounts on the 1g, and donk it straight in? I can fabricate mounts easy enough, but if I can just donk it on the old mounts, it will make life that bit easier

i think its that they use the original engine mounts on the engine but move the mounts on the crossmember
|
