Well my project is finally on the road and ohhh what a feeling!
Anyway, in a battle at the lights, to gain as much as i can out of my 1g-gte, at what rpm/speed do i shift?
Do i just redline than shift or is there more to it??
Also my shift light has a 700 rpm bandwith at what rpm should i set it??
Any thoughts would be great!
cheers

Hey Strad,
Its good to hear from ya!
Those turbos you sold me are fulsik
The boost comes on a little later but you get thrown in the seat a lot harder. I think they've got a bigger compressor compaired to my original ct12's.
Is your project almost finished?

Ah shit!! haah. was that you I was selling those turbos to? I forgot your nickname. I'm glad they work well, I thought they were in good condition.
As for my project, I haven't got much further with it, I"m about to get my engine bay sprayed pretty soon in order to get the engine dropped in. It's still a way off, but it's gonna go when it does.

What is your 1G in? were you the sprinter owner?
I also cant wait to get mine on the road. Could be an interesting battle
Also what are the turbo's your using? Done any other mods to your motor? Any idea on your power figures?

Dylo,
Yeah i'm the sprinter guy. The engine is stock but runs the later model ct12's with EMS and 5 puck ceramic/kevlar clutch. With the original damaged ct12's on 8psi i got 110 kw at the wheels. I am planning on a gt25 and bigger intercooler.
I am trying to find a hilux diff at the moment!
Anyway, thanx for the tip guys
cheers
