Electric Windows, need to retain power after ignition turn off Wed, 05 January 2005 00:55 Go to next message
I recently went for a ride in a mates xr6 and when he turns of the ignition he has approx 30 seconds of power left to close the electric windows.

I have an ae92 hatch with electric windows. I would like to make a similar mechanism to retain power to the windows and electric sunroof for a short period after the ignition is turned off. Does anyone know of a good place to find electronics circuit diagram or if anywhere like jaycar or dicksmish have kits for this?

The alarm thing is what i really wanted although the alarm i got supports everything other than that Sad

I'll look in to the jaycar light delay thing though, it sounds like a good option!

You can get a little box that does the window thing and will work with any central door locking system.
