The 4V-E is an EFI All alloy hemi style Pushrod V8 as fitted to the Toyota Century from 1978-1982
Does anyone have any information on these engine, part interchangeability or the contact details of Ian Leifman who used to import them ?
Thanks.

Have you spoken to Jamie about it? I seem to remember talk of either 3TGTE or 5M pistons working in it.

Josh,
Mate there has been alot of development on Jamies TA22 since the old 4V went in. Once apon a time even I had aN idea what bits were slipped into but both the memory banks are failing. Piston options seem to vary I have heard 20R, 2T or 3T and possibly even 4M. It all depends what compression ratio you want to end up with and what size overbore you go to. My
biggest concern is gaskets, bearings, water pump, dizzy cap, rotor button. Those kinda bits. Oh and I need a Crank shaft pulley ??
