RDA Brakes for Corolla Wed, 05 January 2005 22:16 Go to next message
Hi Guys, I need some advice on brakes upgrade. Has anyone heard of RDA Brakes? I was told by the mechanic that they are generally better than DBA brakes. I had a look at the RDA slotted brakes, and the slots actually extend all the way to the side of the edge of rotor unlike the DBA's. He said this would allow hot gasses and dirt to escape quicker.

Does anyone have any opinion on this? Is anyone using RDA rotors?
Thanks for your help guys. Smile

I've got RDA rotors.
They have only been on a week so I haven't hammered them yet.

They are a lot cheaper than DBA, and they use RDA rotors in the Commodore Cup, so they can't be too bad.

It depends on the demand as to the price of the disc.

300ZX's have 2 types.
One is 280x30mm, one its 280x26mm.

The 280x26mm are about $300 trade for a pair.
Whereas the 280x30mm are about $200 trade for a pair, as they are also used on S15's, R32's, R33's etc etc.
