Bad luck that.
Will keep an eye out for it and let you know if it's spotted.
My mates car was stolen from Woden multi-storey car park last week while we were at the movies, it turned up 2 days later with screwdrivered locks. Hopefully this one turns up not too trashed.
Damn dodgy wankers

Thanks for that.
Nasty evil smokers are in for some Bad Karma.
Like your mate, he was in the Mall for all of just under 2 hours.
Might be the work of delinquent school kids with nothing to do on holidays since their balls haven't dropped low enuff for them to scratch.

I reckon that you have bit of a car theft problem in Canberra. They seem to go missing pretty regularly. Better not go near my car seeing as i'm about 11000 miles away and cant give them a real close up look at a bat for their trouble.

I'll definitely keep an eye out for you! Hopefully if the gearbox is nearly dead it will leave the fuckers stranded somewhere not very far from the mall.
Maybe you should check with westfield if they have any security tapes of where the car was stolen. If they do, take it to the police...they might know they offenders already or at least recognise them.
As the nats are on, you should ask everyone going on cruises to keep an eye out for it. A lot more ground will be covered that way!
BTW when was it stolen?
Good luck with finding it.

G'day all
It was my 74 TA22 that was stolen as Lizzy has stated.
I just had to say that the paint is actually not bad but the shell has a sheet load of rust. The panels are very straight as are the bars. The dash is the type with the factory oil pressure and ammeter.
Last week I replaced the gearbox and clutch and front wheel bearings so now it actually drives ok.
It has a 13T engine with a escort type webber and extractors.
It was'nt much of a car but its mine and I want it back.
It was only going to be retired for spares for my TA22 rally car due to the rust problem. In the mean time it was going to get a new(however short) lease on life with a 4AGZE I have in another Ta. I don't plan to do that anymore even if the car is found/returned. It will be in the classifieds shortly.
If anyone does see the car or comes across anyone selling parts potentially off it, please call me.
Cheers
Geoff Stewart
