The windows on my 93 Hilux are quite difficult to wind down. They wind down about a third of the way, but then you need to crank really hard to get it right down.

I was thinking of ordering some new regulators and installing them?

Any thoughts about whether this should solve the issue or how difficult it is to replace the regulators?(I havn't pulled off the interior trim to look yet Rolling Eyes )

Its easy enough to fit new regulators but i'd pull off the door card and have a look first. Parts of the mechanism could be bent or maybe you could adjust the position of the glass. Spray some silicon spray into the glass runners as well, this might help.

Does someone make new regulators?
Or do you just mean better condition 2nd hand items?
I would like them for my RA28.

www.ozeparts.com.au

The hilux ones are about $30 each, not to bad.

Have lots of new non-genuine parts, prices are pretty good plus you get another 10% off for signing up (free! Very Happy )

Don't know about parts for the RA28 though you might have to check it out. Cool
