Hiya all,

Having a major shed cleanout and stumbled across this hidden away.

Basically it is a Full Floater diff setup from an RX7 Improved Production race car. It does not have a centre, but comes with 3 axles (one has a bit of twist in the splines - maybe 5 degrees), has small solid discs fitted (about 230mm maybe ?) and has about a degree of neg camber in the housing.

I bought it with the option of trying to fit it into my RX2 that I had at the time, but that never eventuated.

Considered a MUST HAVE for any real high performance beam axle car.

It came from SelectMaz, and at the time was surplus to their requirements.

It is now surplus to mine (MA61's are IRS, so hence are already full floaters..), and whilst the housing is not Toyota, the end hubs can be adapted, and new axles made if required.

Anyone interested ?

I can diasassemble the housing and supply only the hubs if anyone is interested

Other than that it is going to the dump

I will accept any reasonable offer (meaning bugger all compared to what it is worth)

Cheers

Michael Bachmann

thanks Michael for the pics, what a strange arrangement., they have bolted the floater kit onto a stock RX7 axle to get a wider track. I'll look into it over the week-end and get back to you. thanks. terry

Yes it is a bit odd, but it seems to work OK, and helps increase track without getting wierd offset rims !!!

Any offers ?

It is going to the dump this Saturday if not offer materialises....

In a moment of dyslexia, I wrote the dimensions wrong. Corrected at the top of the thread.

Thanks Terry, awaiting offer from yourself and one other

Cheers
