Swap my WRX for Starlet GT+cash or. Fri, 07 January 2005 13:51 Go to next message
I have a 1996 WRX,modified in all areas of the car and am interested in swapping for a modified Toyota starlet GT,plus cash, with a similar shape to the picture below.

http://www.boostcruising.com/database/readersrides /files/HRD-2L200310051853ridefile2.jpg

Please PM me or email me at wazzabp76@hotmail.com and let me know if you are interested.I am located in Ballarat, but will travel for the right swap.
Reason for this is I test drove one of these in Queensland and was really impressed by it, and would like to own one for a couple of years, as these would be a great sleeper in my area.
I may consider other 1990 ONWARDS cars like turboed n14 pulsar, liberty rs, later model starlet gt,supercharged corolla or even a triton or hilux ute with tub or with sides with cash adjustment. It seems the starlets are a little hard to come by.
No, silvias, 180's, or GTIR's.

Pictures of the subaru can be found here:

Yeh, I could do that.
It has large AVO top mounted intercooler,3 inch exhaust to the cat then 2.5 from cat back to keep it a bit quieter, pod filter, unichip, running 1.2 bar and putting out 152.4 KW at all 4 wheels.Still has the stock TD05 turbo.Engine bay is mildly detailed.Has a brass button clutch also.
It has custom rear spoiler,Jetspeed front lip, colour coded side skirts,18 inch sensei chrome wheels with near new falken 451 215/35/18 tyres, lowered on kings(yellow shockers and springs?),engine strut brace, rear sway bar, custom interior from later model with inserts retrimmed in purple leather, punched steel floor mats, clarion single cd head unit, graphic equaliser,2 rockford punch 10 inch subs, 2 amps, 6 inch rear speakers, custom floor in boot.
Has custom plates (victorian car)and is registered until 14 june 2005.
Has done almost 107,000kms and has had timing belt changed at 100,000kms and was last serviced at 105,000kms.
Ive owned it since 92,000kms and have not had a single problem with it.Only faults is a couple of cracks in front bar, very small chip in arms on spoiler and a small dent in drivers door(no paint missing).Probably cost approx $200 all up to fix all 3.Only front bar chip is noticable.
Im looking at $24,000 ono, but if its going interstate I can come down a lower as it will not require rego and roadworthy.
If someone is willing to fly down to pick it up, I can drive it to Melbourne airport and refund airfare on purchase.
I will add some more photos to the link over the weekend.

They are great, and would take one if its motor has been well modified and has tidy bodywork.
