I just bought myself a 90 Cressida GLX at a very good price. Only it need new front shockies, what brands do people recommend for the MX83 and how much am I up for?
Is it worth installing a set of lowered springs at the same time, to elimate some of the body roll?
I just installed a set of KYB shocks and King springs all round in our Cressida. This effectively lowered the car 38mm. Cost was less than $600 (I got it cheap).

I fitted 40-45mm lower springs to my MX83 Cressida. Also sourced complete new struts from Toyota for $150 each (usually $240-$250ea) One had to come from Japan. The lowered springs were an improvement in the handling department but larger sway bars would make a huge difference (the rear is only about 10mm)
