G'day all ..

After a really quick response here as i'm just about to go out and do it now, but just to be on the safe side, i need to know the steps to 'safely' changing the ECU. I want to just basically swapover the stock ECU's to see if my ECU is stuffed up or working correctly.

Now do i just take the battery terminal off and just unplug the ECU's and swap them over? is there a waiting period or anything? anything else i need to do?

Thanks

Just tried it, and the other ECU didn't work, accessories was working, but the car wouldn't turn over after many tries.

I got the ECU part numbers/codes down, was wondering if anyone could tell by what year it is?

Don't know about the part numbers, but sounds like it's time you dusted off the multimeter, and went hunting for power in the right places, as well as checking the crank trigger is working.
