i was wondering if anyone has any info on lowereing a 2000 hilux 2wd ute front end. how much drop was gained by winding down torsion bars, trimming bump stops and lower shocks compared to standard. just curious as i would like to know the drop difference between this method and installing drop spindles.
i lowered the front of mine about 3.5" or so..just hop under the car..with 2 22mm spanners..and wind them down..simple as that..i haven't touched my bump stops either!! for the back..i got the leafs reset about 4" lower..new shocks should not be neccisary (sp?) the car is pretty new..but you can do them if you like...
