Volk TE37's for AE93 SX

Hi guys,
Been doing a lot of searching re wheels for AE93 Corolla SX. Considering Volk TE37's ...and would like some feedback. My mate said to steer clear of them as they were too much of a "trophy" (i.e. high theft risk) ....any comments?...and any advice re other rims of similar look but lower price that won't attract scumbag element.
Only place I've seen that seems to have them is Just Jap in Kirrawee....and going rate is about $1600-1800 / 4 rims....Are there any other vendors around to compare prices with?
aLSO, How wide is wide enough??? Is 15x6.5 OK ??

te37's are highly regarded as one of the best rims ever to put on a japanese import
high theft value!

I can get any Rays wheels, but all brand new, without tyres! The TE37 is probably the most expensive wheel in the range, due to its popularity, and being forged. A set of 17" x 9 go for a little over 3k

My favourite are CE28N's... closely followed by TE37's
