Intercooler gurus (upgrading to ARC replacement) Mon, 10 January 2005 09:36 Go to next message
Hey guys
Finaly sourced myself a replacement intercooler

its still top mount made by abbey road.

Now people say its having the I/C at front. A big huge one. But this is going in a SC setup. So i want it as close to the throttle for idle and lag purposes.

Does anybody else own one of these?

I've seen Jason's HKS upgrade still a top mount with increased flow. So is it really all about flow or getting it cold?

could better flow potentialy up the boost?

its about many things
most intercoolers are front mounted to get maximum airflow.

other things to consider are core size, weight, end tank design
