Hey peeps,
Our new club are currently organizing a meet for this Sunday. It is an open event for any member of the toymods community. We are not currently sure of the exact location, but we think a park somewhere in the Mt. Dandy area will be nice for it. At this stage it is just a meet, there may be a bbq available depending on location but it will be a byo food event.
Anyway, the rest of the details are explained in our forum, http://teamae.no-ip.com Then in the Cruises/Meets section. There is no obligation to sign up as you can post as a guest, but if you live in Vic and own a toyota, always a good thing  .
Please redirect any questions and confirmations that you are coming to the thread in our forum.

yes your right we do, however I cant find a single bloody park in that direction with a BBQ and a decent carpark that doesnt involve a dirt road to get there. I might have to make it a tottaly different area.

Hopefully location will be sorted by the end of today, seems we're gonna have a good turnup which is what we hoped for... but I don't see anyone goin to our forum.
As some of you may have guessed there was an alterior motive to makin you guys go to our forum to confirm etc. Basically the only people that would confirm would be people from vic that would be able to make it to further meets etc. This is why it would be great if everyone that is coming and even the people that can't make it this time could sign up to the forum and check it once in a while.
Anyway its up to you. I'll get on Sam's back to get a location sorted.

Well considering sprinter owners are generalising about sprinter owners, id say that there is a problem with some of hte sprinter owners in melbourne at the moment. I wasn't the only one outspoken about the meet but i seem to be being targeted. Im not fazed but i'd prefer if people are gonna have a go at me, that they should do it in person and not be keyboard warriors!
As for not showing up to meets outside of melbourne, theres been a fair few that half of the melbs guys dont show up to "cos its to far" hahahaha
Jay: i made a promise to nim i woudltn' start shit, I had no beef with you guys up intill that night so had no need to anyway. Unlike you guys who did, and decided you'd do other things insted of talking to me!. WEAK!

Joel didn't i come talk to you at the OZ cruise thing ? I drive a sprinter so how does that add me into the same group , Really i went to that park meet for about 5mins as well because i had to run off to fix a stranded interstates car . The people which i did meet in that short space of time did seem friendly .
So what is the problem ? Who is the problem with ?
Please don't generalize the sprinter group , there alots of bullshit internally with all types of car related groups at any level . Hey i get the shit to with so many posers about & the Takumi wanabees to because i never see them on the track , or involving themselves at anything constructive .

Meet was a success, i think we had a turnout of about 15 cars which wasnt too bad considering the other events happening. Photos will be up within a few hours and I will post the links here, thanks to all who came, was a great day.
We started the BBQ at noon and by about 3PM we had around 15 cars, we then decided on a cruise and ended up going to silvan reservoir, was quite a fun drive. Bad luck to the dude with the ta22/ra22/ra23 (sorry don't know celicas too well and sorry can't remember your name ) that broke his axle coming out of silvan reservoir ...
