The two people killed were male, and the two most seriously injured were also male, so your sister should be ok, hoon.
I go to Monash Clayton. Luckily I'm a slack bastard and I took today off.

Monash Clayton still sits at preference 1&2 for my course selection. I really hope the gunman had a motive, but it doesn't seem that way . It's scarier when people kill like that for no apparent reason.
condolences to all. It's very close to home.

there is a motive- the two murdered were asian.
not being racist or anything, but would there be more chance of hitting an asian in monash clayton? or would he have had to pick them out?

Putting aside the VERY TRAGIC and sadenning death and injury of these innocent people, and avoiding any racism here....
....there is a serious problem with the influx of internation students and their preferntial treatment at universities nation wide.
Seriously though, my condolenses to anyone that has been affected by this tragedy. It worries me that such things happen in our peaceful country.
As far s the comments about australia become more like america. We are NOWHERE NEAR of this sort of thing happening in comparison to america.. we are about 50-70 years and about 200-250 million people behind.... be thankful we live in such a peacful country

there could be many resons behind the shootings, nothing this severe can be explained in one sentence. what ever circumstance it became so intense that he felt the need to redeem himself by intentionally inflicting harm onto his fellow man. his action very vain, selfish and overwhelmingly violent made him feel that he was more powerful than his victims, his teachers, his God. if only his parents used a condom...
