My 621 RWHP MKIII Supra Tue, 11 January 2005 09:05 Go to next message
New here and thought I would show my car also.

'89 Turbo hardtop 5SPD.

621 RWHP and 651 RWTQ.
I am adding a new exhaust this week and a new intake next month so I plan on another 50 plus to the wheels. (I hope) > Then I use the spray (Nitrous not used just yet)

Just a few pics and if anyone wants to see any mods let me know.

That's pretty funny actually as I did get pulled over once and the cop asked what I had under the hood. I said you wanna look! so I opened it up and he called over his partner to check it out. They both said WOW! How many horse power...(In case of a trick question) I replied a few over stock .. LOL Wink

We don't really get bothered for that kind stuff. Mainly if your car is to low but if your a young kid I think that would be worse problem.

I generally don't get bothered at all.

I have had my car for 5 years now.

The intercooler spray kit consists of a few different parts.

-NOS solinoid from a power shot
-The halo is from DEI
-Used to engage is a micro switch under the throttle plate.
-It is used only at wide open and then sprays but not until I turn on the bottle of course and flip the switch inside.)

I have a decent size intercooler and therfore only got a 26 WHP on the dyno by spraying nitrous.
To give you an example, I had a smaller turbo last year and sprayed the intercooler and got zero gain simply because my intercooler was more than effecient for the smaller turbo. Now that I have the bigger turbo, it does have some gains.

I have a buddy that has a VW Golf (MKII) and sprayed his cooler with a 72 WHP gain. It really depends on your set - up. He has a VR6 with a T66 . His car is on my website. My company website which is also on my domain site.

Nice car!

Did you notice any difference when you put the carbon driveshaft on?

The drive shaft is much lighter than OEM. OEM is 33 LBS and CF is 11 Wink A lil noticable difference and I am sure a lil power. I added a few goddies the same time so I don't have a sheet to show the power gain.

To free up a lil more power I did the exhaust today! DFull 3.5" all the way back with thin wall 321 stainless with an ultra light weight BurnsStainless muffler. Total weight! = 14 pounds. My old GReddy exhaust = 45 Wink Now that is weight reduction!
