That's pretty funny actually as I did get pulled over once and the cop asked what I had under the hood. I said you wanna look! so I opened it up and he called over his partner to check it out. They both said WOW! How many horse power...(In case of a trick question) I replied a few over stock .. LOL 
We don't really get bothered for that kind stuff. Mainly if your car is to low but if your a young kid I think that would be worse problem.
I generally don't get bothered at all.
