disc brakes for an AE86 SR-5

Hey, I know this is an australian club, but hopefully the model specs will match up (at least a little). I'm interested in buying an AE86 gt-s (corolla, powered by 4age). Whoever imports cars into the States, however, decided that it'd be much more fun/interesting/sick/twisted to import 10 times as many SR5 AE86 corollas into the States (just in case you folks weren't equally screwed by the import/export powers that be, the SR5 puts out somewhere around 71bhp and sports rear drum brakes roughly the size of teacups). Therein lie the problems. The engine problem is easily remedied by a local shop and a spare 4age that's bound to be lying around somewhere. My question, however, is: Is it possible to reasonably convert the drum brake setup on an SR5 corolla to four wheel discs (possibly cross-drilled or slotted), if so, what is the best setup to use, what parts are necessary, and are there any resources on the web on how to perform the operation in question?
Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

There is a simple answer and a complicated answer,
It is very easy to buy a whole disk brake rear end or just the disks and calipers from the disk brake version, parts are apparently more common over there form a wrecker, or the hard way if you want something decent that is vented (the best form of heat dissipation) is to go to a decent brake shop and gert them to make something up, but will cost you.
Check out club4ag.com its a fraction closer to your home
Cheers
Ben
