What wheels will fit on a KE70? Answer lies within... Thu, 13 January 2005 00:15 Go to next message
Hi,

My GF bought a KE70 the other day, and already i can't stand looking at it with the stock rims on. I wanna find some cheap 15 inch rims for it, but don't know what PCD and offset to use.

I've lined up some stock S13 Silvia rims, they are 15x6 4 stud (PCD 114.3x4) and have 205/50/R15 tyres.

Will these fit? What rims will fit?

I've tried silvia rims on an AE86 and they work fine on the back (although sit under the car more due to different offset) but rub the strut on the front.

15*6 with 24p offset fits well, so anything around there should be ok.

I think the white cars rims (above) are supra alloys. Could be wrong tho...

I got the S13 Silvia rims! (7 spoke ones)

They bolt on, and only need 5mm spacers on the front. ALSO, you should use 195/50/R15 tyres... not 205/55/R15 tyres. You can use your standard nuts too!

Sorry, didn't take any pics. Will do so if i receive 'popular demand'. Otherwise, just 'photoshop' it.

with the silvia rims, you can fit 205's on the back if you bash your guards.. or just cut them out.

im running 15 inch ssr's (2 speedstars on the front, 2 mesh on the back) but only using 195 50 15's, cut the guards out anyways just for good measure..

205/55/R15's fit fine on mine! Soon to change to 205/50/R15 for better rolling diameter. NOTE: I'm only talking bout rear here. Front is different story.

It's all in the off-set and rim width...

On the front, i needed spacers and 205/50/R15's, MINIMUM. Take pics in 2 weeks.

Here's some pics. The tyres are 205/50/R15 front and 205/55/R15 rear (to keep the revs down at 100km/h).
The fronts have 10mm spacers. The rears need NONE (but it would look cooler if it had BIG spacers).
NO modifications were done to the guards, front or rear.
There is plenty of turn-to-turn clearance.
