Does anyone know where I can get a computer and loom for a 5mge?
I really need it, my old computer from the 5me doen't have the features for the 5mge!

you dont need the o2 sensor. and as for the idel control valve... dunno about you engine but my early model uses the same screw type valve as the 5me. so its not hooked up to anything. or are you talking about the bypass valve? just use the 5me one, but you may need to fix a vacuum port where the 5mge valve sits (not hard).

Best place to get a loom/ecu would be an 86-88 MX73 Cressida.
But the connectors can be a bit crispy these days, so watch it.

there's a cresidda or two out at sumner park toyota wreckers with 5mge's in them - at least one still had teh ECU in it - from memory one was under or under-and-to-one-side of the solitary red Ma61 they have (has been rear-ended.
they're not cheap so settle on a price before doing any hard work removing the thing
