Hi,
Having recently becoming an owner of a 1972 TA22 Celica, I was after some info about my new beast!
As I mentioned I have recently became the proud owner of the classic "coke bottle shape Celica. After making my purchase, I proceeded to take my Celica for a cruise to show off my new ride to my mates.
After seeing it and going for a spin themselves I was informed that I had purchased my ride for a bargain price. I was just interested to get an opinion from some people who knew a bit more about Celicas than myself.
As I said my car is a TA22 model, with a LT body being pretty straight and recently resprayed in WRX blue, has drag way rims, Stereo and speakers, a 2TGEU engine (1600, DOHC, EFI), MT8 Microtech computer with handset, T18 gearbox, extractors, 2 1/4, inch sports exhaust system, elect. fuel pump and a thermo fan.
If anyone could give me a more informed idea of its value, it would be greatly appreciated.

I wouldn't expect more than $5000 for an RA23/TA22 with an 18RG/2TG engine and some other mods, all up in very good condition.

Yup wouldn't go for more than $5000, and it'd have to be very nice to sell for that.
