Using a hilux diff and front brakes in a ra23 celica is it possible? Sun, 16 January 2005 09:04 Go to next message
I would like to know if its possible to get a hilux diff shortened and installed keeping the drums on.
Also if its possible to mount the disks from a hilux on to a celica mainly to get a 5 stud bolt pattern for bigger wheels.
I f anyone can help it will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hilux diff is easy enough, but I wouldn't recommend shortening it; you're better off getting one the correct width to begin with. This subject has been discussed over and over; if you do a search you'll find all the information you need.

As for Hilux hubs, you need to check if the model you plan to source them from runs the same bearing as your RA23. Easy to do if you ask your local auto parts store to cross reference the part numbers.
