Ok as title says, im after the electric antenna for the MA70.. should I be prepared to bend over?... I am to scared to even ring Toyota and price one of these!!
If I were you I'd expect to bend over... Toyota wants $350 for a new antenna for a Cressida which is of the same era and possibly is the same part. Wreckers rarely get ones that work and when they do they ask about $100 for them. I paid $95 for my MX83 power antenna from Just Toyota. They only had one and said that it was a fluke that they had one when I wanted it.
Is the whole antenna busted or just the mast?
You can buy them OEM mast's for about $50 from Toyota.
Otherwise the whole antenna assemblies are about $250-350
