I had recently bogged up my missus car(yesterday) ,anyways it has rained and I am worried the water is just going to set in under the bog! what do I do? rip it all out and start again? sorry for the lamo question but this is the first time I have ever attempted this kind of body work
if you had etch primed (or other kind of sealant) over the bare metal then let it dry out completely before continuing.
if you had simply bogged over the bare metal then let it might start to rust underneath - your call as to whether you re-do it, or carry on regardless.
just weld metal in and do it properly insted of bog...no matter how you do bog its gonna fall out sometime anyway
Yeh that was the plan but my mate didnt come through with the goods and weld it for me,if anyone knows how to weld and wants to earn a bit of cash then im all ears,ill cut the fibreglass out and start again I did etch under it but not that much..
