ok, conversion is getting closer, and I'm going to be needing an engine hoist. Before I go looking into renting one, does anyone in sydney have one they wouldn't mind lending to me for a few days, and again when I want to put the new engine in?

I'd love you a lot, and offer my body
or a case of beer, or something... oh, and eternal thanks

I bought an engine crane the other day and used it just today to remove the engine out of the TA22! I'd allow you to borrow mine but I'm a little to far away I spose!

What is a good engine hoist for four cylinder motors worth anyway?

engine crane would be more acuaretly what I'd prefer

I need it to be able to handle a 6-cyl, as the 1jz also has to go in

Draven,

My Brother has an engine crane he would probable rent you nice and cheap. It was used for his 1J conversion so there is now worries there. (Also did mine and Tinas conversions Smile )

Sounds similar to Cool1's

Kenards Hire hire's them out for $48 for 4 hours or $59 a day.

I spoke to Scrote and it is being used over the next few weeks but If its not being used when you need it he would rent it to you for $20 a Day ! Smile Just need a copy of your licence and rego for security - Obviosly if you broke it you would own it/replace it.

You can call him on 0404 061 605 - AFTER 11AM !
His name is Daniel. BTW he also lives in the Epping/Eastwood area ! Smile

Hope that helps.
