1G-GZE Gremlins

Hi all.
The 1G-GZE in my RA23 is giving me grief.
It drives OK, but does not produce any boost, runs rich, and hunts at idle. A test light rigged up to mimic the engine check light flashes continously, meaning the ECU has no codes to throw up.
Can someone please hazard a guess as to what the problem might be ?
Thanks,
Mitch.

just a guess, have you checked the wiring to see if anything has come out or unplugged?

Check your idle solenoid valve; it could be stuck open. Easiest way is to tell is to block off the pipe leading to the ISCV and see if that fixes the issue.
Also check that the air flow meter flap is not sticking. That would also account for all the symptoms you describe.

I'm also pointing a finger at the idle stepper motor... check that you have power to it, and make sure you've grounded everything you need to ground.
Also check that the supercharger clutch is engaging!
