Does anyone know of a wet Nitros Kit for a 4age 20v. Needs 4 injectors due to quad throttle bodies.
Thanks
Richard

Ive gathered that NOS make a model spcefic kit for your car though its a Dry manifold setup. So unless you want to have a shared inlet to a filter thats the only way that kit will work. If you do i would recomend you go for this kit if your motor is not turbocharged as it will take out a lot of time hassle and $$$ out of the setup as these kits can be had for the high 800odd dollar mark. Though what your after is a direct port kit. There are other manufactures like Zex and NOX, they really dont have the range of kits that NOS do. There are a few direct port efi nitrous kits that NOS make for your application though some of them would only want to be used for a compition motor. One that stands out is the NOSZLE direct port efi system this is able to be jetted 50-125 hp with the 4 cyl kit and has a 3 part NOSZLE. Basically one part for Nitrous, other for supplement fuel for nitrous and the other part of the NOSzle houses your injector and basically it fits into your original injector hole in your inlet. Kit number is 08004NOS and you can get info at www.nosnitrous.com

Dont forget your fuel system also has to be up to spec to be able to fuel the extra fuel required for a xHP shot of N20 and not to mention the fact that your motor needs to be able to withstand the extra hp and driveline components aswell. Though if your building a serious compition engine then you might aswell go all out on the sport compact nitrious system offered by NOS which is 80-225HP adjustable, as you would be upgrading the rest of the components to be able to withstand and a fuel system that can make that hp.

Edit: don't get me wrong, Nos has it's purpose for relatively cheap power gains if done right (Fattony sounds knowledgable on the topic). But you will get reamed if caught driving the streets with it hooked up, or worse have a crash and get caught with it hooked up (both are quite unlikely though).

The other problem is the amount of pressure it creates, it is quite easy to blow a piston through the block if not set up right...
There are certain types of pistons that Nitrous is also good for destroying.
The whole bottom end of the engine has to be strengthened quite a lot to handle a decent amount of Nitrous, a friend runs a 75HP shot through a V8, it's basically on it's limit of throwing a rod through the block...
Luckily he is rebuilding the whole engine for good 1/4 power.
Also, N2O is a bit of a bad gas to have release out into the atmosphere... So don't let it outta the bottle...
On the topic or painting bottles... Another friend had an old fire extinguisher, about the size of a small nitrous bottle...
He got a "NOS" Label, painted his fire extinguisher blue, bolted it into the kick panel on the passenger side for a laugh, made the label face so people could read it... And all the guys at his school thought he really had NOS...

I can get these if you are really keen. Mind you I can get you a cylinder that'll hold 15 litres of the stuff at 300 bar. Poofy little red and blue bottles are for amateurs.

300bar ? i thought the hose was rated to 1200psi . well whatever the rating those jet connections are just bronze crimped and alloy ,so i can't see them withstanding pressure for a great time . I was just sold a braided line kit for my new turbo , they used one of those NOS fitting on the block end . Leaked easy with just oil pressure .

How is the nos actuall supplied? Via bottle pressure only. In that case you only need to run it through a regulator to give required delivery pressure. But I'd just plumb it with solid stgainless line, 10,000psi working and put up with lots on non chromed shine.

Yeh the Nitrous is supplied to the nozzles via bottle pressure. Though when you buy the Nitrous kit what every it may be you get the appropriate lines with it.
