wtf is a jabber? a punch line?

where would i find the fuel pump from a vl? in the boot or under the car? and wat tools would i need to remove it?
going to a diy wreckers Confused

A couple of metric sockets, ratchet and a philips screwdriver. Take the bracket it comes in as well. It is under the car, at the back, forward of the fuel tank, drivers side. This is from memory of many months ago though...

yeah drivers side, in front of tank etc as mentioned.
also need pliers to cut through wires and knife to cut
through fuel hose (usually done by wreckers tho)
and the rest of the tools already mentioned - i think
its 5 10mm bolts holding it in, ones on top and a pain
to get too.

drain the fuel out too before you fully remove
it. it comes out by twisting it gently and moving it
somehow or the other. i pulled out a few and some were
in way better nick.

i ended up replacing what i had previously anyway after
all that drama. an external electric fuel pump for carb,
had a carter and replaced with pierburg which was pretty
cheap anyway.
