I just bought an Import turbo, and I'm having trouble finding decent third party insurance... Tried Just Cars and they're a bit of a rip off ($328 P/A just for third party) anyone got any ideas/references?

just to add some comparisons to the discussion:
hilux dual cab diesel ute, 2001 model, ex fleet car
comprehensive insurance (needed for finance)
never had insurance before, car lives in brisbane
rating 2
Suncorp - $978
Justcars - $623
i did get a quote from shannons, vigil and justcars for my RA40 turbo about 12-14 months ago: Vigils was nearly $1500, shannons was about $1300 and justcars around $1200 - none of them would lift the replacement value above $5k (despite all the engine and body costs) so i decided not to get insured,

they specialise in classics, but they'll do almost anything. Typically though, for your run-of-the-mill cars, they'll be dearer. I have my modified '84 Cressida with them and they're the cheapest I found for that thing. Also weren't bad for a standard WRX I considered as well.
