Engine modifications vs Roadworthy

Hey all,
I have been thinking about selling my RA60. For example, if I had swapped on EFI to the standard motor, what happens when I try to get it roadworthied? Would they knock me back? I'm just not sure
Atm my car is running a different carby to stock, and i'm thinking about converting to efi. Either way, I want to know how this affects getting a roadworthy.
Cheers,
James

you have an ma61.
sell the crappy ra60 (sorry max) and spend proceeds + savings for efi conversion toward engine conversion in supra

Ma61 has 5mge in it already. I don't plan on changing it anytime soon.
To sell a car with rego in VIC legally, apparently you have to sell it with a roadworthy. Since I have modified my engine slightly (diff carby, cam, no emissions gear, etc) I need to know what I can get away with. I'll probably have to chuck most of the emissions gear back on. But the original carby I butchered a bit and I cannot put it back.

Surely you can pick up an RA60 carby for like $50 if you get stuck?

best bet is to take it to a rwc joint, gte them to run a roadworthy onit and see what they say needs to be fixed. then on the 2nd visit u'll have everything sorted and can flog it off
